Social Icons based on font… but intelligent

Today we talk about are and web, rather… talk about an easy way to use a font in our pages graph which correspond social icons (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and so on), thus integrating the article about six months ago on set of icons in the form of font.

The font of today has as particularity the fact of being simple to include, even more than the set of icons that I mentioned six months ago. It's called “Mono Social Icon Font“, and a example live (worth a thousand words) we can see the project page. In fillable field (opening the site the focus is already on the) we try to write any of the names next to the icons below (“circleaboutme“, “circlebebo“, etc.). (more…)

Some fonts, or rather some set of icons

Sometimes on the internet ran into some ingenious solutions, that resolve in a few clicks a job that otherwise would last a few minutes (you, ok, we are talking about minutes, but is always a time-saving). The resources that we mark today (taken from the English blog SixRevisions) are simple font, whose characters consist of monochrome icons ready to be included in the web (with the CSS rule “@font-face“), a technique in use for some time, but that hardly see applied.
