Some years are depopulating within the icons for blog sharing 2.0. Risquotono rightly quite successful because in this way the webmaster has the opportunity to make more easily visible their own blog giving some possibilities, negate the prima, of the average user sharing. Among other things does not weigh down the page and icons are nice to look at.
In a nutshell, it is a small bar to the bottom article containing some of the icons for the most used services sharing the web 2.0 (I can see an example in this article at bottom of page). You acknowledge the service logo that he uses (facebook, twitter, stumble, etc..) and the process of sharing is immediate, we do not need intermediaries. (more…)
Today's tutorial is a cross between photography, graphic and Mathematics. Photography because we start from a real photo, and a good photograph is the beginning of a good job, graphic because of the various tweaks that as we make any and Mathematics because the effect scomoderemo today follows strict mathematical rules, nothing is left to chance. For this tutorial we will use Gimp and its plugin MathMap. (more…)
In today's tutorial we talk about photography. How many times has it happened to take pictures, affect them on the display of the camera and see them in good condition, then download them on the computer and realize the presence of the noise in the picture.
The digital noise present in the photo is the deterioration which can range from small disturbance barely visible, the disturbo “a puntini” very annoying to see how we will see in the next image it shows how the quality of the image may change, changing the ISO. (more…)
I have to register, however, that the script go loaded manually on the web space, it is not possible to upload a script via the plugin interface. For the moment I only loaded the script “snowstorm” which allows the present snowfall on the homepage. (more…)
Who said that PhotoShop always comes before Gimp? The plugin we are talking about today was developed natively for Gimp, was then invented something similar to PhotoShop.
Maybe someone does not play the new plugin “Content aware filling” per PhotoShop. Well, “Resynthesizer” is an algorithm developed as a research project of the University 2001 subsequently led to plugin for Gimp long before that were created “Content aware filling“. But let's start from the beginning. Start by saying that “Resynthesizer” is a plugin that fully automatic removes by selection the objects in the picture if placed on a plot, filling the space Missing the selection with the same color of the background, trying to keep the texture uniform. This plugin can be very useful for example if we were to touch up the photo of a sunset sky with a pole in the foreground. (more…)
In today's article we see some useful plugins for WordPress I have made my life easier in the composition of the blog. Obviously the list not describe, and omit some plugins as important as “Akismet” because they already exist by default to every WordPress installation (not because it is useful, but because its benefits are undeniable).
It is one of the plugins in my opinion the most useful ever created for WordPress. WP Super Cache speeds very visitor access pages, creates a file HTML PHP caching the page visited by reducing de facto the use of resources on the server. In this way we have a dual advantage: the user load the page faster and the server save energy. (more…)
In this tutorial we deal with correct perspective a photo with Gimp. Often (especially in the narrow streets) having to take pictures of monuments or facades of tall buildings, having available a limited field for framing. It is clear that we will be closer to the monument over the photo will be “far” from being correct axonometric. The perspective correction is also called correction (or modification) the falling lines. This is because taking a photo close to an architectural element gets the impression that the monument is falling backward (the architectural lines converge upwards.
For anyone involved in editing is always useful to have a tool for noise removal, and often the plugin integrated into Gimp does not return satisfactory results much.
Wavelet denoise This is a plugin for some time in registration plugin for a Gimp, a tool that deals with the noise removal satisfactorily (or at least in the most satisfactory of all the ones I've tried so far). (more…)
Today's tutorial is a bit’ long, I wanted to document in detail all the steps, so that they could be understood without reading the explanations, but only flipping through the images.
Gimp with the photographic manipulations are very easy, but the technique which I will discuss today is quite complex, and write in this post also to remember it in the future. Today we start from a subject monochrome, and end up with having the same subject with the water effect.
To create the effect we will use all our flour sack, with the exception of are. Anyone is free to use the font that best satisfies the, preferably with rounded corners (It must seem written with water) and since I personally hate the “Comic Sans MS” I decided to use the '”Arabolical“.
Let's start with the classic white sheet. Measurements 640 x 480 px that coloreremo with a gradient mode “radial“of the same color in two different tones: #017189 and #00acd2. (more…)
