The bizarre requests in the graphics industry

For some time now I'm running in a variety of (and for “several” I mean “a myriad of”) graphical ads in Itaila. More than the amount of ads, amaze me the skills required. Let's take a premise.

Tips: Open an EPS file with Gimp on Windows XP

The version of Gimp for Windows is nothing more than a port of the most complete version for Linux. By itself Gimp on Windows has nothing to envy to the Linux version, it was not for some small additional packages that are enabled natively on Linux. One of these is Ghostscript.

Import tracks from Inkscape, Gimp

Anyone with intellectual honesty would not hesitate to affirm that the level of interoperability reached from the Adobe suite (the manner in which they interface between their programs) e di Gran go top compared to open source alternatives. An example is importing tracks the Illustrator a Photoshop, possible by the classic copy – Paste.

Import the format “.to” in Inkscape

Many of you already know Inkscape, the program open source for excellence vector graphics, that with Scribus and Gimp defines the complete package for graphics its GNU/Linux. On the one hand, however, it is limited in’import / export formats (not more than it is Adobe Illustrator), the other is definitely more versatile as modular.
