For those who have a Acer Aspire One (AspirOne for more) with Linux4One recommend a’excellent guide taken from the support forum.

Linux4one It is an excellent customization of ubuntu, adapted Acer Aspire One, But things do not always work the first time. The guide we report below shows how to take effect audio changes power, so that each audio restart is how we left.

Start by creating a file…

sudo gedit / etc / init.d / Alsa-levels

… in which insert the following commands:

#! /bin/sh

# Alsa-levels
# -------------------------------------
# Simple script to save/load alsa mixer
# values

case "$1" in
      /usr/sbin/alsactl restore

      /usr/sbin/alsactl store

Once saved you will have to make it executable…

sudo chmod  x /etc/init.d/Alsa-levels

… and make it load every time the pc restarts:

sudo update-rc.d Alsa-levels defaults

In this way, any changes to the audio before switching off will be saved at the next power.
