Today's date on LibreOffice Calc

Today's article is quick and easy, and solves a question for LibreOffice Calc that I have recently put.

How to set up a Calc document so that every time you open the spreadsheet the date in one cell to automatically update to today's date?

The same operation is very simple with LibreOffice Writer: "Enter" - "Command field" - "Data". In any reopening the file, the date is updated than today.

Enter the date in Writer

Regarding Calc there is not a field command, but if inserted a simple little formula that shows today's date: "= Today()".

Note the formula inside the bar, and the result within the cell.

It is also possible variant "= Now()", that will display the date and time. If properly formatted can also show the date only, or only the month, or only the minute.
