Tutorial: create a fabric like jeans from scratch with Gimp

In many works of graphic happen to need to add an "effetto jeans"? It may be for poster, posters, posters. For me so far I've always gone to look for some stock photo, or me the photos are taken by me, but in today's tutorial we see how to get the same effect (nearly photorealistic) with Gimp.

First, create a new image file to work. I will use the standard size "640 x 480". The background will be blu (in my case I used the following hex: #393a6e).

30 days to learn HTML5 and CSS3

Today I report an important series of tutorials (lasting a mese) that promises to teach web design to those who design is fasting in just thirty days. The course starts from zero, and it is also addressed to those who do not know anything about web design. And by no mean zero.

The lessons are structured so as not to be too heavy, the first try not to "put too many irons in the fire" and run out in about ten minutes at the most, as a result are then introduced i shadow tag in the order of use. Particular attention has been devoted to compliance with the standards, all'accessibility and in how they interact HTML and CSS.

The format of the images

Three buckets of size "convenience" introduce us to today's topic: formats when saving images. And after speaking of photographic techniques, we move to formats with which we can save our photos, or our files. Luckily the world is varied, and various are the preferences and habits of users. The following article tries to do some 'clarity on formats, in that context, it is best to use one or the other, and what changes from one format to another.

Today I wanted groped with the menu type Wikipedia, but it is only a virtuosity fanatics WordPress.

Photography: some basic principles

When we speak of "photography" not only talking about a vile mechanical process by which the light is captured by a sensor, turned in electrical pulses, salvata su una memory and made available to the vision. Of course we also talk about this, but especially of "composition", in a sense of "art".

For the success of a photo should be aware a few simple rules that if applied will give us the advantage of not having to transcend from the original photo in post production.

HTML: numbered list disordered

The advice today is fast and (hopefully) helpful. Sometimes I happen to write some articles divided into sections. So far I have never raised the issue of assigning a sequential number to each section (as is the case with the chapters). Today I raised the issue. This procedure can be useful for example when we want to insert A small menu at the beginning, alluding to the section listed (type Wikipedia). Let's see how.

The HTML code for the classic numbered list is as follows:

   <li>Test text 1</li>
   <li>Text Test 2</li>
